“The Lamp is the result of extensive material research aimed at finding something both strong and perfectly translucent. Initially, Mylar seemed promising—it was durable but too transparent, revealing the bulb beneath. At the last moment, I had the idea to sand the Mylar sheets. This simple technique gave them a paper-like texture that maintained strength while achieving a soft, delicate appearance.”
